Malossi electronic control unit Tc Unit Rpm control 55 8678
Code: 55 8678
The incessant development of electronics in the motor sector has led Malossi to the creation and marketing of a complete line of electronic control units for road and racing scooters which embody the utmost technology.
Each control unit model has been expressly studied for the scooter on which it will be mounted, for this reason after countless tests on static and roller benches and on race circuits an optimal ignition mapping (fixed or variable) has been defined in order to obtain the maximum performance from the vehicle. The Malossi electronic control units have also been designed to allow extremely simple installation, as they are interchangeable with the standard control units; compact and ergonomic, they connect perfectly to the original connectors.
The Malossi ECUs also allow you to eliminate the rev limiter present on the stock ECUs: in this way you can fully exploit the power and torque of the engine even at the highest revs up to 20,000 rpm. The Malossi control units are capacitive discharge and therefore allow to limit the emission of disturbances as much as possible during the voltage discharge; they deliver an almost perfect voltage peak on the spark plug (35,000 - 50,000 volts based on the engine speed) and give very high discharge voltages and discharge currents with surprising constancy as the engine rpm varies.
TC UNIT R.P.M. CONTROL
On these control units there is a microswitch, which can be positioned at will on your vehicle in a sheltered place, which activates the rev limiter of your engine. The number of revolutions on which the rev limiter intervenes is adjustable according to the type of your engine. For the adjustment of the speed at which it intervenes, referring to the odometer of your vehicle, and acting on the micropotentiometer on the control unit, it is possible to adapt the intervention point of the limiter. The adjustment potentiometer has a remarkable sensitivity, therefore it is necessary during the adjustment phase to make very small rotations until the insertion point of the limiter suitable for your scooter is reached.
