Scooter Racing Malossi exhausts have been designed to achieve maximum performance in combination with the cylinders for which they were created. Each evolution of Malossi exhaust systems derives from fluid dynamic studies that precisely determine ideal shapes and dimensions.
Only perfect exhausts, characterized by absolute production homogeneity, can boast the Malossi crest. The production technology is common to all Scooter Racing, with differences found exclusively in the fractioning of the cones.
All Scooter Racing exhausts are made from sheet metal with a constant thickness of 0.8 mm, laser cut and welded with obsessive precision. They are equipped with a calibrating nozzle, the dimensions of which respect very strict tolerances, ensuring that the pressure inside the exhaust always remains within the correct values.
The development of Scooter Racing exhausts occurs in parallel with that of Malossi cylinders. To achieve maximum performance, it is essential to always match the exhaust to the cylinder for which it was designed.
All Scooter Racings are equipped with an aluminum silencer, anodized Nitro blue.
MHR Team 3 and MHR Big Bore Ø 52
MHR Team 3 and MHR Big Bore Ø 52 are the new names of the Scooter Racing exhausts intended for the Testa Rossa Flanged Mount cylinders, respectively 70 and 94 cc. They are characterized by an unprecedented cone profile, facing upwards, and by an even more dynamic appearance.
Malossi engineers have obtained a notable increase in power, focusing on rounding the arc of use to widen the field of action and find an effective setup more quickly. The rpm allowed to the engine has increased, expressing maximum power values around 14,100 rpm for the 70 cc and 13,800 rpm for the 94 cc.
The cylinder attachment system features a four-hole light alloy connection, designed to allow perfect passage of the exhaust gases, optimising the fluid dynamic flow. This solution is a descendant of the one adopted by the MHR Team 2 exhausts and is new for the Big Bore Ø 52 version.
The connection system of the Nitro blue anodised aluminium silencer has been simplified: it is now connected to the exhaust expansion chamber thanks to an elegant and lightweight system with just one fixing screw.
